German for business and management: Description

Language training with economic topics in international learning groups at different levels: Listening and reading comprehension with current texts, business-related regional studies, specialized vocabulary, improvement of speaking and writing skills, training in discussion and presentation techniques as well as in communication situations relevant to the profession.

Topics: Company basics, human resources (job applications, job interviews, etc.), marketing, business correspondence (business letters, telephone calls), intercultural business communication, etc.

Upon successful internal final examination, a certificate will be issued as proof of the ECTS points.

    Course Level

    For this course, language skills of levels B1+ - C1 are required. The verification takes place through an online placement test.

    Teaching staff

    Highly qualified instructors with many years of practice in teaching German as a professional language.

    Additional options

    In the practical part, we offer all course participants the opportunity to experience technical processes in real life, for example in automotive engineering, communications or consumer goods production, through excursions to German companies. These excursions are an integral part of the course and help to experience the course content in application. This makes the professional field of engineering really tangible.

    Application deadline

    Registration possible until the maximum number of participants is reached or until the first day of the course, thereafter on request.

    Target Group

    Scholarship holders, students, graduates and professionals with an interest in business and sufficient knowledge of German.

    Schedule

    Monday through Friday, daily from 09:00 - 13:00 or 14:00 - 18:00, exact class times to be determined by IIK.
