telc Deutsch B2/C1 Beruf - exam: Description
The exam consists of two parts: a written and an oral part.In a scaled examination such as the telc B2/C1 Beruf exam, language skills are assessed at two competence levels. There are tasks at both CEFR levels in all parts. Participants receive a certificate for either the lower or the higher CEFR level.
The written exam consists of reading, writing and listening and lasts 170 minutes with a 20-minute break.
The oral exam lasts approx. 20 minutes and is a partner exam.
The receptive part of the exam consists of reading, listening and language modules. Similar to the DTB exam, there are also task types such as multiple choice or matching tasks. In the productive part, writing and speaking, the participants have to express themselves in writing or orally on an input. Everyday professional situations form the basis for the topics and vocabulary.
The examination cannot be taken as a partial examination.
