Discovering Germany culturally: Ideas for virtual cultural learning: Description
In this training course, participants experience German and Düsseldorf culture at first hand in workshops at the training centre as well as on excursions and outdoor experiences in the city. The focus is on lifestyle, housing and transport, food and drink as well as modern literature, music and film.In the second step, the findings are processed virtually. Participating teachers receive ideas for the creation of their own teaching materials relating to regional studies topics, in which the experiences from the training programme can be processed and used profitably in everyday school life, and apply the new knowledge in practical workshops.

Funding example
In the new EU education programme ERASMUS+ you can apply for grants for this training course - travel costs, accommodation, meals and course fees are funded.
In contrast to the previous application practice, the institutions/employers of teachers must now apply for the scholarships from the respective National Agencies - several scholarships can be applied for directly in one application.
