German for Medicine (FSP): Description

The course is aimed at international doctors with advanced knowledge of German who are preparing for the specialist language exam at the Medical Association or who would like to improve their specialist language skills.

The communication training course “German for Medicine: Communication Training and Preparation for the Technical Language Examination for Recognition of Medical Licenses” takes place on twelve dates and is aimed at international doctors who are already advanced German learners at level B2/C1. The course is designed to enable medical professionals to communicate successfully in their everyday work. It also serves as preparation for the specialized language exam at the Medical Association.

The course focuses on communication with patients in the form of anamnesis interviews and other conversational situations, as well as conversations with colleagues and employees in a medical context. Please allow time for extensive homework assignments.

What course format is used for teaching?

Face-to-Face: On-site group lessons with hybrid option

Our lessons take place on-site in the classroom — while also offering you the flexibility to follow each session live online. State-of-the-art technology in all rooms ensures smooth interaction between the teacher, online participants, and those present on-site. This allows you to combine the advantages of personal interaction with the freedom of digital learning.


Live-Online: You take part in the course exclusively live-online.

You can take part in „Live-Online“ from home, on the road or on-site: Use our learning zones and IT services (lending of tablets and iPads, printers, copiers, scanners) in our training centers in Düsseldorf or Berlin - and meet other course participants from all over the world at our Café or at our leisure activities.
