Digital ideas for teaching: in person, online or hybrid: Description
The speed of progress in digital teaching opportunities is making it increasingly difficult to keep track of the purpose and possibilities of using tools and apps in foreign language teaching. This training course teaches the latest findings in digital teaching. Participating teachers learn everything there is to know about the ‘digital classroom’ and develop strategies for using it in their own lessons. Workshops will present and test examples of how tablets and other devices can be used in the classroom. Teachers will learn how to use specific web-based tools and platforms and, for example, how to create teaching materials with the help of artificial intelligence and make them available digitally. They will also gain knowledge about online games, apps, interactive worksheets and virtual collaboration platforms for all types of teaching. A particular focus of the training is on presenting the technical and didactic features of online or hybrid teaching.- Gain an overview of the wide range of tools and programmes available for teaching purposes
- Learn about examples of digitally supported teaching, e.g. through the use of AI to simplify preparation and follow-up work for teachers, and try them out for yourself
- Understand the technical background and educational framework concepts for live online teaching, hybrid teaching and blended learning concepts
- Develop lesson plans for transfer into your own teaching practice and take the step towards digital transformation

Funding example
In the new EU education programme ERASMUS+ you can apply for grants for this training course - travel costs, accommodation, meals and course fees are funded.
In contrast to the previous application practice, the institutions/employers of teachers must now apply for the scholarships from the respective National Agencies - several scholarships can be applied for directly in one application.
